In recent months, the Brisbane Programmed Electrical Technologies field and office team came together for a purposeful afternoon in support of Beyond Blue’s initiative. 💙
‘Beyond The Tools’ was the result of a shared desire among staff members to foster engagement within the mental health community. With a fantastic afternoon involving generous sponsors, prizes, Trademutt shirts, and a game or two of lawn bowls , ‘Beyond The Tools’ was a resounding success.
The team were also touched by guest speaker Geoff from Beyond Blue who generously shared his story delivering a poignant message about mental health struggles and where to find help. Not only did it spark numerous conversations about mental health among colleagues, but it also resulted in a donation of $5875 to Beyond Blue. A special mention and a big thank you to all our wonderful sponsors and partners who graciously got involved; Mick Addison (L&H Newstead), Wayne Mattingley (Haymans Airport), Rennie Dolich (Dicker Data), Christian Bighi (Extron) and James Gilchrist (Maddison).
Most importantly, the event allowed the team to engage with one another and have meaningful conversations about a topic and was an event that the PET Brisbane team can take great pride in.
