Titomic

Titomic Titomic is an Australian public company providing the world's largest and fastest metal 3D printing

Titomic is an Australian advanced manufacturing specialist and in particular those industries that focus on advanced materials and additive manufacturing. Together with the Commonwealth Science & Industrial Research Organisation (the Australian federal government's research body)(CSIRO), Titomic has developed a process by which products can be manufactured to virtually any shape and size via their

proprietary Kinetic Fusion process. The Titomic Kintetic Fusion (TKF) process, sprays material powders such as titanium alloys, at supersonic speed onto a scaffold surface, resulting in the powder molecules elastically deforming on impact and then bonding at a near molecular level with the surrounding particles. This process can be applied to create tubular or shaped load bearing structures and will conform to nearly any shape. This process can also removes the need for secondary manual processes such as folding, bending and welding which are often expensive, time consuming and require extensive energy consumption. With many materials such as Titanium traditional methods also require gas shielding and low oxygen atmospheric conditions. The TKF process can be conducted in normal atmospheric conditions and at ambient temperatures with no requirement for gas shielding.
