Another 3D Printing technology that Formero has to offer is Digital Light Processing (DLP), often referred to as Figure 4, DLP is an ideal process for a variety of application needs such as functional prototyping and direct production of end-use parts.
Figure 4 refers to the model’s name of the 3D System Printers. These printers use a resin base, similar to SLA, but instead of a laser that traces a layer, a DLP machine uses a projected light source to cure the entire layer at once. Thus, creating highly accurate parts in short time frames.
Formero can print in 3 different materials, including rubber and a high-temperature flame-retardant material.

Not only do the standard materials offer superior strength, but the FX20 also has the option of printing in Continuous Fibre Reinforcement (CFR).
CFR offers unparalleled strength with its ability to incorporate continuous strands of carbon fibre or Kevlar into the printed parts.
CFR is a great solution where parts require a high strength-to-weight ratio such as competition bike frames.
