After some good rain, the sun is out ☀️and Juliet and I have made our way to Farmfest — rugged up and ready to go.

Are we here for the steak burger? Absolutely !

Are we also going to run into farmers near and far and spend the day catching up? Without a doubt.

What I love about Farmfest is that it’s so much more than an agricultural field day. It’s a fantastic showcase of new innovation … & of course the steak burger 🍔

Last week in Townsville, we spotted the flagship of the Royal Australian Navy — HMAS Canberra (III) receiving a load of fuel!

This mighty assault ship is a true powerhouse of the fleet. Here are some fascinating facts:

🔹 Aviation Fuel: Carries approximately 1 million litres of aviation fuel to support up to 18 helicopters.
🔹 Diesel Storage: Holds around 1.5 million litres of diesel for its own operations.
🔹 Endurance: Can operate 45+ days at sea without resupply!
🔹 Length: About 230 metres — one of the largest in the navy!
🔹 Personnel Capacity: Up to 1,000 personnel onboard.
