Since joining GTT in February 2026, the Wangarang work crew have been keeping our factory floor and offices spotless and making sure recyclable materials end up in the right place including timber offcuts returned to our supplier for wood chipping. ♻️

Now, they’re adding another string to their bow: working on the GTT wall production line, helping bring Australian homes to life.

It’s a well-earned next step for a crew who have become a valued part of our team. New skills, new responsibilities and plenty to be proud of.

Our partnership with Wangarang supports disability employment right here in Orange, creating opportunities for people to contribute, develop their skills and grow with our business.

For this rural homeowner, building with GTT meant working through the details early… from electrical layouts to design changes … with a team they could trust.

With much of the construction completed in the factory, their home was expected to take just three to four days to put up on site. Less time with an active building site on the farm.

“𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗨𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗦 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘.” 𝗧𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗩𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛𝗦 𝗢𝗡, 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗙𝗨𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗘.

At GTT’s Open Day a year ago, visitors saw the potential: precision manufacturing in regional Australia, opportunities for people with different skills and backgrounds, and a faster way to deliver quality homes.

One visitor summed it up: “This is the new normal.”

𝗧𝘄𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗼𝗻, 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲.

GTT’s Homes NSW program spans 32 dwellings across 16 Western Sydney sites. With keys to duplex 12 handed over, much-needed affordable homes now have Australian families living in them.

Behind that progress is a coordinated process connecting design, manufacturing in Orange, site preparation, logistics, installation and completion.

Each site brings different conditions. Repeatable processes allow our team and building partners to carry proven knowledge from one home to the next, supporting greater precision, more predictable delivery and better use of available skills.

The opportunity for Australian housing is bigger than a fast installation. It’s delivering quality homes consistently, across an entire program.

While structural systems take shape in Orange, work can continue on the building site.

When design, site readiness and delivery are coordinated early, factory production and onsite preparation can progress together.

That overlap is one of the ways panelised construction helps shorten the path to installation.
