Keeping the weekly project updates rolling! ⛪ We recently got to play a part in saving a beautiful church out in Gilgandra.

Severe water erosion had caused the foundation to sink, which led to the roof trusses collapsing and bricks dislodging. It was a massive structural challenge. The builder needed to carefully lift and straighten the roof back into place, and then secure it using heavy-duty steel framing supplied by the team at WF Industries.

To make sure the new steel fit perfectly inside the warped roof, I traveled to Gilgandra and 3D scanned the entire structure. This allowed me to map every inch of the damage and design the steelwork to exact engineered specifications.

Keeping the weekly updates rolling! 🛠️ Here is a look at a pipework upgrade we designed for a local mine, working alongside the team at WF Industries in Dubbo.

The mine brought in new, larger pumps, meaning the piping needed a serious capacity upgrade. The catch? The new pipes had to be installed during a tight shutdown window, meaning everything had to fit perfectly the very first time.

To eliminate any guesswork, we 3D scanned the site and built our models directly over the real-world data. After we completed the drafting, WF Industries took over to fabricate, rubber-line, paint, and install the final product. Great result all around! 🤝

Rolling into another weekly project update! 🚛

Late last year, we worked with our great clients over at Lab Fab on a custom guarding solution for an underground Agi.

Our job was to head out for a detailed site measure, create a 3D model of the existing truck, and design a set of heavy-duty guards. The main challenge? Providing top-tier protection from the rear moving components without getting in the operator's way. We designed the guards to ensure crews still have quick, safe access to all their valves and hose connections.

We are back to our weekly project updates! 🛠️

Check out this previously completed alloy platform designed to sit atop a float cell tank out at Cadia Mine. We partnered with the team at LabFab to draft a complete aluminum structure for this one.

Because routine maintenance is so critical on these tanks, we incorporated heavy-duty handrails and a custom access hatch to ensure workers have safe, easy ladder access directly into the tank.

More than happy to help WF Industries out with this one. Given a tight deadline, insufficient fab detail and areas of design that simply didn't work, the guys were up against it from the start. I was able to offer design support during fabrication with drawings being supplied on the go, staying 1 step ahead of fabrication, sometimes half a step. Not too many places could have delivered this project on time with the challenges faced. Well done to the guys at WF Industries for delivering another quality project safely and on schedule.

When clients need smaller jobs completed like creating DXF files for platework to be nested and profile cut. I am more than happy to help. Like these dump truck tub wear liners shown here. They are not big money makers for myself, but the files are necessary for efficient operation of many fabrication businesses to be able to utilise their CNC profile cutting equipment.

I recently completed a design for a suction pump arrangements. These projects are unique in their environmental requirements.
