On Saturday 23 August, we proudly celebrated Will Ravatudei achieving a huge milestone – completing his four-year Carpentry Apprenticeship with Melchor.

Balancing FIFO rosters across multiple projects while raising and supporting a young family is no small feat, but Will has done it with grit, professionalism and a “no fuss” attitude that’s earned the respect of his peers and leaders alike.

As Mick Ablett shared, “Will has been an absolute pleasure to have within the Rising Talent Team… more importantly, you will not meet a better role model as a person. His character is what sets him apart.”

Congratulations Will on this outstanding achievement. We’re excited to see what’s next for you and look forward to supporting you as you continue your journey with Melchor.

From Flying the Flag for our MATES to asking “R U OK?” — last week was all about showing support, sparking conversations, and looking out for one another.

Across our work sites throughout Western Australia, Melchor proudly raised our flags in honour of the valuable work MATES in Construction dose to raise awareness about mental health and su***de prevention in our industry.

We'd also like to recognise and acknowledge the incredible efforts of Connectors, ASIST workers and volunteers in the industry that make all of the above happen and are changing lives.

These initiatives are a powerful reminder that every conversation counts, and every mate matters.
