Double Bay House | Progress Update

With the structural works now complete, the focus has shifted to the interior finishes, where the finer details of the home are beginning to come together. Handmade tiles, natural stone, and hand-rendered walls are now being installed, with our build team working closely with skilled craftsmen to bring the design vision to life.

At the centre of the home, the staircase atrium is emerging as a key feature—showcasing Luigi Rosselli’s signature curves against the backdrop of stunning harbour views.

The finishing layers are always the icing on the cake, and it’s exciting to see this beautiful home entering its next phase.

Another exceptional design by Luigi Rosselli, and a project we’re proud to be delivering.

Working within the original footprint, this transformation carefully balances heritage and contemporary living—retaining the character of the Californian bungalow façade while introducing a refined, highly functional layout.

At its heart, an expansive kitchen, living and sunroom open seamlessly to a north-facing courtyard, creating a strong connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. The broader design includes a gym, entertaining pavilion, guest studio, and an upper-level games and media room—each element considered to support modern family living.

Set on a generous site just moments from Centennial Park, the home is immersed in greenery, offering both privacy and a sense of calm.

The redesign of the once dilapidated 1926 Rosetta has transformed the home into a considered contemporary residence, achieved through a creative and highly resolved approach to design and construction.

Awarded 2023 Master Builders Association Winner – Housing Alterations & Additions, this project is a proud addition to our portfolio.

The casual dining area, finished in a rich olive green palette, is complemented by a stairwell wrapped in Josef Frank floral wallpaper — a warm and inviting corner designed for everyday family living.

The design is continuing to take shape, with the beautiful curves now clearly defining the spaces and rooms beginning to fill with natural light.

The tear drop swimming pool and spa have been relocated, while internally, handcrafted tiles are being carefully laid within the bathrooms.

A recent site visit with the client, set against the calm backdrop of the harbour, marked another key moment as the project progresses.
