🔧 This week we are introducing one of our great team members Josh and giving you a glimpse into the people behind Boremetrics.

📍 Are you a local?

Originally from Sydney, but I have called Mackay home for the past 8 years.

🤝 What made you join Boremetrics?

I had heard great reviews from mates and had previously worked with the directors' brothers, so it felt like a good fit from the start.

⚙️ What kind of work do you enjoy most?

A mix of breakdown work and shutdown work. I enjoy being part of a team and solving problems under pressure.

🌴 What do you like about living and working in North Queensland?

Working alongside good people, being part of a strong team, and enjoying the outdoors and family lifestyle that North Queensland offers.

🏆 What is something you are proud of?

I am proud of what we have achieved in business and even prouder watching my family grow, achieve awards, and excel in their sporting activities.

🔨 Favourite tool, job, or part of the day on site?

Definitely crib time. A good feed, catching up with the boys, and having a laugh. As for tools, Milwaukee hand tools are hard to beat.

Yes I've lived here since I was little.

2. What made you join Boremetrics?

I joined boremetrics over a year ago to get into the mining industry and try something I hadn't done before. I always wanted a career and not a job so this was the perfect fit!

3. What kind of work do you enjoy most?

I love the challenging jobs, No day is ever the same and I love that!

4. What’s something you like about living and working in North Queensland?

I love the lifestyle, camping, beaches and the nice hot weather.

5. What’s one thing you’re proud of — at work or outside of it?

I'm proud of where I am for my age. I've already achieved a lot and I'm only 20!

6. Favourite tool, job, or part of the day on site?

I love our close knit team. There's always a helping hand, someone to talk to and a laugh had. Couldn't ask for a better environment to work in.

Highly competent fitters trained in compressor servicing recently completed 4 major B services on Kaeser compressors.

It was great working alongside Matt on this one.

Things are ramping up with servicing operations. There is a reason we choose Kaeser compressors. German engineered, built for long service life, extremely reliable, low tolerance to equipment failure, reduced breakdowns and designed for harsh operating environments.

Today on ANZAC Day we stop and recognise the courage, sacrifice and service of those who have served and continue to serve Australia.

We acknowledge the ANZACs at Gallipoli and all who followed. Their actions set the standard for mateship, resilience and doing the job when it matters most.

At Boremetrics we take the time to pay our respects to those who gave everything so others could have more.
