Boremetrics is seeking an experienced Electrical Coordinator for an immediate start at a well-established open-cut coal operation in Central Queensland.

DIDO from Mackay or Rockhampton regions

Paid travel time to and from site

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner for a short‑term assignment on a gold mine operation in the Townsville region.

About the Role
Working within the maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to support safe and efficient plant operations.

Responsibilities
• Develop and manage weekly maintenance plans
• Prepare work packs and job scopes
• Coordinate labour, materials and equipment requirements
• Liaise with supervisors, trades and operations personnel
• Maintain accurate records within the CMMS
• Ensure work is planned in accordance with site safety standards

Requirements
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Planner within mining or heavy industry
• Proficiency with SAP or similar CMMS systems
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to commence 30 June 2026
• Australian working rights

Yes I've lived here since I was little.

I joined boremetrics over a year ago to get into the mining industry and try something I hadn't done before. I always wanted a career and not a job so this was the perfect fit!

3. What kind of work do you enjoy most?

I love the challenging jobs, No day is ever the same and I love that!

4. What’s something you like about living and working in North Queensland?

I love the lifestyle, camping, beaches and the nice hot weather.

5. What’s one thing you’re proud of — at work or outside of it?

I'm proud of where I am for my age. I've already achieved a lot and I'm only 20!

I love our close knit team. There's always a helping hand, someone to talk to and a laugh had. Couldn't ask for a better environment to work in.
