🕷️ Reaching hard-to-access power lines

Our new 33 metre elevated work platform, known as the Spider, has just completed its first job in the field. It helps our crews safely reach power poles in hard to access areas like hills and wet paddocks.

In rural and regional areas, powerlines often run through steep hills, wet paddocks and tricky terrain. The Spider EWP gives our teams safer and quicker access, which means:

🚧 Safer working conditions for our people
🏘️ Quicker power restoration for homes and businesses

Crews onsite – Victoria Rd, North Parramatta
Our crews are currently on site responding to an unplanned outage impacting 341 customers in North Parramatta.
Works are underway along Victoria Road under constrained conditions, with traffic lights currently out. Please drive carefully, follow directions from traffic controllers.
Power is expected to be restored by 6.00pm.
We thank customers for your patience while crews work safely to restore supply.
