It came in for a park light...

Unfortunately time is beginning to catch up with these AE112 Corolla's and this one suffered head gasket failure causing the engine to run hotter than usual.

After a check over for leaks and replacing a missing thermostat, we conducted a combustion leak test on the cooling system which unfortunately came back positive for a failed head gasket.

While replacing the head gasket, we also replaced a majority of the tired, original components that had fallen behind in maintenance - including the distributor, ignition leads, injectors and fuel filter.

This Corolla is now good for another 26 years on the road!

'77 Kingswood in for a front end refresh. Top and bottom bushes and ball joints for the control arms and a whole new set of steering arms.

We also removed almost 50 years of dirt and grime to make the arms presentable.
