Butler’s Pantry Vs. Scullery

Australian trends have shown an increase in creating bigger and better kitchens with an extension such as a butler’s pantry or scullery, but what’s the difference?

A butlers pantry is essentially a storage zone with additional storage and bench space from the kitchen to store dry goods and ideal area for small preparations for cooking.

A Scullery is a step further/ larger it will include a washing up area and appliances to allow this space to act as a secondary kitchen operating as food preparation, storage and cleaning area. A great space if you tend to make a lot of a mess when cooking.
