Team Robotanists won the Robot Performance Award with 380 points at the Wollongong Regional yesterday! This year our team upgraded from EV3 to Spike Prime, moved from programming on Scratch to python using pybricks, and version controlled their code using gitlab. Team members worked singly or in pairs to solve their missions, using a git branch to keep their work separate from the others, until it was tested and working properly. Completed branches were then rebased, re-tested, and merged together to form the complete program. The team also used a colour sensor to automatically select the run code appropriate to the attachment.
