IMARC Day 1 ✅

VP Electrification, Jerome Cloue, talked all things electrification at Black Rock Mine in South Africa in this morning's session, covering how Epiroc gear is making mining safer and greener.

We also teamed up with Hancock Iron Ore for a panel on automation – real stories, real results, and real big trucks running themselves.

It’s been a huge day, the booth was buzzing, and we can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow!

Recently, we hosted the John Deere and AFGRI Equipment Australia teams for an exclusive look at the Minetruck MT66 S eDrive - now officially on Aussie soil and on it's way to Sydney for IMARC next week 💪

With John Deere powering the new engine, and AFGRI on board as a key dealer, it's all hands on deck to get this next-generation truck ready for action before its field trial in the Goldfields next month.

Safe to say, there's plenty to be excited about with this one!

We’re proud to have been recognised by Hancock Iron Ore for our pivotal role in delivering the world’s largest autonomous haulage project – a milestone in mining automation that showcases groundbreaking scale, safety, and technological excellence.

With 78 autonomous haul trucks and 250 in-cab clients, powered by our LinkOA platform, this project is redefining what large-scale autonomous mining can look like.

A huge thank you to our teams and partners, especially AHS Project Director, Marcel Stoelman, whose commitment and leadership have been key to this success.

This award is more than recognition – it’s proof of what’s possible when innovation and collaboration come together.

From one autonomous drill to the largest autonomous D65 drill fleet in the world - Fortescue's Solomon site is leading the way!

Epiroc has partnered with Fortescue to bring four autonomous SmartROC D65s online, making up over half of their MKII D65 fleet at Solomon. One operator can now run four rigs at once, with GPS-guided precision drilling that delivers better blasts, longer run times and consistent, measurable results.

It's safer, more cost-effective, and keeps the drills running even on fly-in days - all while helping get operators out of the cab and reducing their intake of harmful emissions.

A big step forward in how drilling is done at Solomon, and we couldn't be more proud to be a part of their transformation!
