Closer look at the Nomadpdu 100ah Prismatic lifepo4 Ripper - we crammed everything into this unit that enables a customer to run significant accessories whilst off gridding or free camping. The V5 which had been around for 5-6 years was extremely popular yet only had a 20amp max output and 25amp charge rate!! and did what most people wanted out of a grab and go power source. Being the pioneers in slimline light weight PDU (power distribution units) we focus on what's really needed and not gimmicks or things that look cool. The V5.5 ripper is a true 100ah unit that can provide 100ah constant at any time!! so you can run both the 50amp andersons if you needed to at the same time. Realistically you can run 2 x 600 watt inverters at the same time. More importantly running 2 or 3 fridges from the one unit is no problem. There are box type brands with tonnes of marketing that say you can run your house off them as a back up??? its simply not the case. We have seen people spend 5 or 6 thousand dollars on power units because they think its the same as a 5kva generator and it will run everything in the house. Again not realistic, and has limitations. we see it time and time again at expos, people spending thousands more than they need. So what do you want to run?, what does it draw, how many amp or watt etc, then work out what you actually need. There are units out there 50-60ah with dual 240 inverters so you can run any 240-volt accessories which is also not the case, and 50ah running an oven for example would be lucky to get an hour, so very much is a pointless exercise. Take a look at nomadpdu.com.au and the v5.5 ripper , its designed for grab and go applications, huge ah output and 50amp charge rate, Bluetooth standard, any questions [email protected] and the V5.5 is $1100 delivered.
