After 44 years in this industry, starting as a HD fitter, Operator, Mine Manager, through to "C" Suite roles – these are the four questions I'd ask any crushing contractor before letting them on my site:

1. Who answers the phone at 2am Sunday morning when the plant stops?

2. How do you manage safety on the ground day to day – who's leading it, and how do you check it's working?

3. What's your plan when the feed or the scope changes?

4. How do you keep the plant running – what's your maintenance systems look like?

At Performance Crushing the answer to the first one is me! The other three all come back to one mantra: Measure – Monitor – Manage.

We measure everything – tonnes, uptime, wear, product spec, safety – monitor it every shift, and use what it tells us to manage the job and keep improving.

Our 50t float has been hard at work — delivering a brand-new 35t excavator to the Pilbara and bringing a D8T dozer back to Perth.

⏱️ When a client calls at 4pm on a Saturday with an urgent need, we deliver.

This weekend we received a desperate call from a client who needed a Service Truck immediately to keep their mine operational.

✅ Loaded and on our float by 6:30pm
✅ Delivered to site by 1am Sunday morning

🚛 Heavy Haulage on the Move 🚛

Our Heavy Haulage division has been flat out over the past few weeks, keeping heavy equipment moving between Perth, Newman, Tom Price, Karratha, Northam and Gudai-Darri.
