Forecast was good… but the scaffold never showed up again 😩

Told 6:30–7am.
Waited until 8:30.

We need all the boundary walls up before starting inside otherwise we block all access 😅

So we went shopping instead 👀🛒
Picked up more profiles and another wheelbarrow 😂

Can you guess where we are? ❓

One of those days
Scaffold never showed.
So we bounced around the site trying to stay productive
Few on the boundary.
Few bits to get ready for tomorrow.
Then onto the other boundary Upto scaff. Scaffold arriving at 6.30-7 in the morning so should be a much better day.
Some days you fly. ...
Some days you just survive 😎😳😩👍👍

Solo set out tips & tricks Pt-1.✅
Made this little contraption so l can set out alone.
Works wonders on dropped footings
- can pull the tape solo at the right height when needed
much better
and way more accurate than just putting down a brick to pull off. feeling rough as the last few days so didn’t really want to set out another job on a Sunday... but after checking the weather yesterday it looks like we’ve got a fair bit of rain on the way.☔️☔️

So here I am working on a Sunday😩🧱.

A few odd jobs on this one. Took out plugs and filled with limestone mortar where the old fence was attached.
Replaced some damaged bricks and recessed the joints to match the existing. We then patched in some broken limestone blocks next to the gate to make it look as good as possible as it would have been an absolute nightmare to change the blocks.👍👍.

COMMUNITY BRICKIE DAY ✔️

This one wasn’t brickwork — but we did it anyway 👊

Today Tyson and myself installed bamboo screening, sank and set the pavers to help tidy up this space for a lovely local family.

Honestly, even though it was an unpaid day, we both left feeling pretty proud that we could help out a family that genuinely deserved it. Sometimes it’s not about the money or even the brickwork… it’s just about doing something good for someone else.

That’s exactly what Community Brickie Day is about 🧱

We’ll definitely be doing more of these. Whenever we get a free day, we’ll jump back on here and choose another local project to help with.

Appreciate everyone that commented, liked and shared the post ❤️

Follow along for the next Community Brickie Day 👷‍♂️🧱. STABILA DEWALT

Setting out a couple of jobs today at chittering and then went down to North Beach. Have to say the chittering slab was bang on. Well done to the grano’s on that one.👌👌
Tomorrow me and Tyson are doing our community Brickie day. We’re putting up a fence and leveling some pavers for a family in Yanchep. .Teigs Jasper😎👍👍.

Monday patch ups. job No 3. This one a missing TD rod. If it wasn’t for this tool would probs have to knock a few bricks out to install. Good to have like. . 😜👍👍.

Monday. Job No 2. Using the arbortech allsaw cordless on this one.
Not the best demonstration as we had an attached pier and stainless steel wall ties to contend with. It flew thru the joints with ease tho and plenty of power. I’ve used corded ones in the past and I felt there was no difference with power. And still plenty left in the tank. Glad I bought it for sure 👍 . .

Monday patch up day. This is something I have to do a lot. Job number 1 at south Guildford. Patch up a rake and a couple of other things.
Then off to Eglington to fix up some chipped bricks. Will be trying out the arbortech all saw on that one. Then onto job number 3 at Two Rocks to install a TD Rod that we missed. Will upload job no 2 and no 3 later. 👍👍👍.

Finally gone and got an arbortech, been years in the making Borrowed one, hired one never owned one. Just always thought they were abit pricey and would I use it enough.
What’s everyone’s thoughts. Good purchase? I think so. 🤔😎. Purchased from Sydney Tools. DEWALTArbortech@arbortechie
