Larvotto’s Regional Exploration Facility (REF) has been operational since early 2025, contributing to building our presence in Armidale and supporting local employment and technical capability.

Regional Exploration Manager, Matthew Peacock, is in charge at the REF, with 20 employees working at the facility, including 3 undergraduate geology students from the University of New England, AU.

The facility supports Larvotto’s ongoing exploration programs across the broader Hillgrove regional tenure package. It also houses the advanced ECORE scanner supplied by AXT and ELEMISSION, which provides rapid assessment of drill core to support geological interpretation, identification of mineralisation and processing characteristics for the Hillgrove plant.

As part of Larvotto’s commitment to long-term training and education opportunities, the REF regularly hosts geology students from UNE, providing exposure to Hillgrove’s geology and exploration programs, real-life experience of their course content and showcasing the ECORE scanning facilities.

Matt Peacock commented, ‘The Regional Exploration Facility is an important part of the exploration management at Hillgrove where our team of geologists and skilled technicians process and evaluate the drilling samples before sending them off for laboratory analysis. It is a really close team working together and we enjoy being part of Larvotto’s long-term commitment to the New England region by providing opportunities for students and helping establish Armidale as a growing regional hub for technical mining and exploration capability.

Positive initial flotation testwork results received from the TSF1 tailings facility at our Hillgrove Gold-Antimony Project, with antimony recoveries of 80–95% and gold recoveries of 40–75% using conventional flotation methods. The results confirm the ~1.4Mt historic tailings facility as a potential supplementary feed source for the Hillgrove processing plant.

The work also highlights the potential environmental benefits of progressively rehabilitating the legacy tailings facility while recovering antimony, gold and potentially tungsten.

Managing Director, Ron Heeks, commented:

“These results are a genuine milestone for Hillgrove. The testwork confirms that the legacy tailings contain commercially meaningful grades of antimony and gold, and that they respond well to the same flotation methods we are deploying in the upgraded plant. The pathway is becoming very clear; reprocess the tailings, recover the metals, and simultaneously rehabilitate a facility that sits adjacent to a 500-metre gorge.

That environmental outcome matters both to the project and to the broader community. We are now moving quickly through the cleaner flotation work and resource estimation process, and we look forward to updating the market as those milestones are achieved. The retreatment and rehabilitation of the TSF1 material is a high priority for Larvotto and the wider community.”

Larvotto Resources is pleased to advise that first ore has been successfully mined underground and delivered to the stockpile at the Hillgrove Antimony-Gold Project in New South Wales. This is a key milestone for Larvotto ahead of commissioning, with underground operations and plant refurbishment activities continuing on time and budget.

Over the first five years of production, Hillgrove is forecast to produce an average of 92,112oz AuEq per annum, including 39,391oz of gold and 5,696 tonnes of antimony per annum.

Managing Director, Ron Heeks, commented:

“The first ore delivery to surface stockpile is another major milestone in bringing Hillgrove back into production to help meet world demand for this critical metal. The site team has done an excellent job of reaching this point, on track and on budget, for the commencement of plant commissioning in August. With the plant refurbishment progressing well and staffing increasing nearly daily, we are looking forward to delivering on becoming not only Australia’s next critical mineral producer, but Australia’s largest antimony producer.”

High-grade gold-antimony-tungsten system has been identified at the Curry’s Block Prospect, as part of our ongoing project-wide review of tungsten and critical minerals potential across the Hillgrove Antimony-Gold Project in NSW. Historic drilling has confirmed mineralisation over a 1km strike length and open at depth and along strike.

Tungsten has emerged as one of the world's most strategically critical metals. With China controlling over 80% of global supply, Western governments, including Australia, have formally designated tungsten a Critical Mineral, and prices have reached record levels.

Key historic intercepts include 5m @ 11.8g/t AuEq from 144m and 5m @ 5.7g/t AuEq from 27m, with high-grade tungsten intersections including 5m @ 0.38% WO₃.

Located just 4.5km from the Hillgrove Processing Plant, Curry’s represents a potential near-mine growth opportunity as Larvotto advances drilling and assesses tungsten as a potential high-value by-product alongside gold and antimony production.

Managing Director, Ron Heeks, commented:

“Historic drilling at Curry’s Block Mine highlights a compelling and underexplored gold–tungsten opportunity. The results define a coherent, high-grade tungsten system with associated gold and antimony that remains open at depth and along strike. With limited follow-up completed to date, Curry’s Block represents a highly attractive near mine growth opportunity.

As tungsten is increasingly recognised as a critical metal amid tightening global supply it is trading at record high prices. The Curry’s Prospect offers Larvotto exposure to another strategically important commodity within the Hillgrove Project. Drilling will commence shortly and we look forward to future results as we seek to build a significant tungsten portfolio.”

Media Coverage via Bulls N' Bears

"With the Metz Mining Centre slated to play a key early role in the first years of planned production, any potential new discoveries that can be woven into the developing mine plan with minimal extra development are likely to be well-received by the market.

While gold and antimony remain the centrepieces of the Hillgrove story, Larvotto has also flagged tungsten as a potential credit across the field. In its latest Midas Gully hit, the company reported tungsten oxide grades within the broader gold equivalent intercept."

Larvotto Resources has pulled in more strong drilling results from the key Midas Gully mineralised system at the Metz Mining Centre, part of the company’s Hillgrove gold-antimony project in NSW. The program nailed a standout hit of 13 metres at 8.56g/t gold equivalent from 253m depth, which includ...

A standout intercept of 13m @ 8.56g/t AuEq, including 1.2m @ 34.54g/t AuEq, from drilling at the Midas Gully target within the Metz Mining Centre at our Hillgrove Project. The high-grade gold-antimony-tungsten results continue to support near-mine resource growth and mine plan expansion.

Drilling has confirmed Midas as a high-grade extension to existing underground development, with mineralisation now defined over more than 700m of strike and 350m vertically and remaining open to the northwest and at depth.

Metz is Larvotto’s current focus area for underground mining - the identification of mineralisation directly along strike provides significant additional mining with minimal development required.

Geophysical surveys have also identified parallel structures and new drill targets along the Coxes trend, supporting further growth potential. Multiple drill rigs remain active across Hillgrove, with programs focused on extending mineralisation and advancing resource definition.

Managing Director, Ron Heeks, commented:

“Strong drilling results at the MMC, reinforces its key mining role for the first years of production at Hillgrove. These new results confirm the continuity of mineralisation along the Syndicate-Midas structure, north-west of previously reported high-grade drilling results, reinforcing our confidence at MMC as we continue to explore the system beyond historic drilling and mining.

The Midas results are very exciting as they demonstrate that cross-cutting mineralised zones extend north of the Blacklode system, this is further reinforced by geophysics identifying a target that may also extend the adjacent Coxes Reef a significant distance to the north-west of Blacklode as clearly shown in Figure 2 (below).”
