is pleased to invite our local aerospace community to our upcoming upcoming lecture, ** Wings Over the West: Defying Distance in Critical Care **
This session hits close to home for anyone living, working, or travelling across Western Australia.
The Branch will be joined by Rob Winchcomb, Head of Engineering at RFDS WA, who will share his unique journey and insights. Robert actually started his career right here as an RFDS apprentice in Kalgoorlie before spending nearly 30 years in international aviation leadership.
During the session Robert will discuss the real-world strategies used to beat extreme geographic isolation, the challenges of coordinating a frontline fleet of 17 PC-12 turboprops, 3 PC-24 jets, and 2 EC145 helicopters and how engineering excellence directly translates into saving lives every day.
