We are deeply saddened by the passing of Joseph Paratore, a much-loved member of the Primerodonnas and the wider Perth cycling community.

Joseph was a member of Team Primerodonnas and took part in the MACA Cancer 200 for the fourth time this year. He will be sorely missed by his teammates and all those who had the privilege of knowing him and riding alongside him.

Our heartfelt condolences go to Joseph’s family, friends and fellow riders during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Joseph.

Day 1 of Cancer 200! 🚴‍♀️💙

The Primero team is on the road for the first day of this year’s Cancer 200, taking on the challenge to raise funds for people impacted by cancer.

Celebrating its 15th year, the event brings together riders from across the community for a great cause. This year, we have 33 riders across our team, including 11 from Primero, riding towards our $150,000 fundraising goal.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated and supported the team so far. Every contribution makes a difference, and we’re looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together.

It’s Ride Week!

This year is the 15th anniversary of the MACA Cancer 200 Ride for the Perkins event.

This week, the Primerodonnas are gearing up for their 6th Cancer 200 ride, taking on 200km to support people impacted by cancer.

With 33 riders across the team, including 11 from Primero, we’re getting ready to hit the road and help raise funds for a great cause.

We’re aiming to raise $150,000, and every donation helps us get closer to that goal.

Today, our team came together for our first Primero Toolbox in our new Perth C*D office, providing an opportunity to reconnect and hear the latest updates from across the business.

Our Managing Director, Michael Gollschewski, shared insights into the exciting developments across Primero while reinforcing key safety messages.

We also heard from our long-term community partner, Perth Homeless Support Group. Chairperson Lindsey Francis provided an overview of the valuable work the organisation delivers in the community and thanked Primero for its financial support and team member volunteering.

The event also recognised team members celebrating their 5 and 10-year service milestones, acknowledging their dedication and positive contribution to Primero.

It was a great opportunity to bring everyone together, celebrate our people, and reflect on the role we play in supporting the community.

It’s been a great few days in Perth, connecting with Defence, industry partners and businesses from across Australia, and beyond, to discuss the opportunities ahead for the sector.

We’ve also been proud to be part of the broader NRW MET presence alongside RCR Advanced Technologies, OFI and DIAB Engineering, highlighting the complementary capabilities across our businesses and our ability to deliver integrated solutions for Defence.

We are pleased to welcome Patrick Dumont to Primero as Director of Engineering!

Patrick’s recent experience supporting the development of the James Bay Lithium Project at Galaxy (Arcadium, Rio Tinto) further strengthens Primero’s leadership position in Lithium, and our current clients are already benefiting from it.

In addition, his project ex*****on experience at Iamgold, combined with his years of engineering consultation supporting the development of Gold projects for Newmont, Lundin Gold, Kinross, Agnico Eagle, and others, enhances our local expertise and supports our continued growth.

Day 3 at the Critical Minerals Conference!

Another great day at the conference, with plenty of conversations, connections and a bit of friendly competition along the way.

A quick congratulations to our Day 2 prize winner, Patrick Morsch from DrM! 🏆 There’s still time to get involved and have a go, so make sure you stop by Booth 34. Even AUSIMM CEO Stephen Durkin joined in on the fun!

It’s been a great opportunity to connect with industry leaders, project developers and innovators working to progress Australia’s critical minerals sector.

Across the conference, we’ve been discussing the practical challenges of taking critical minerals opportunities from development through to commercial production, and the role of scalable processing solutions in making that happen.

Primero supports projects across the lifecycle, bringing together capabilities in mineral processing, hydrometallurgy, process development, engineering, construction and commissioning.

We’ve also enjoyed sharing more about ALi, our lithium refining technology, and how it can support the next stage of lithium processing.
