One of our most cherished projects now on site at Curtin University!

Carrolup Art Gallery landscape with IPH Architects. Honouring and revitalising the precinct with first nation peoples, stories and landscape connections.

The project is following on site the now completed dome project by our friends at Aspect Studio and IPH.

A great capture by Richard Hassell of WOHA of the Forbes Residences, a mixed use residential development integrating architecture and landscape.

The cascading plant featured is a prostrate form of Acacia saligna.

We are excited about a number of planting prototypes we're trialling at the moment featuring this Acacia, borrowing from natural Japanese and Korean farming methods and syntropic tree pairing principles.

The strategy is for multiplanted Acacia to provide a density of groundcover that can be a living green mulch offering soil cover, be interplanted, 'chopped and dropped' insitu and best of all, offer nitrogen draw down to its root nodules. This groundcover will be paired with Parasienthes lopatha with elevated mid - level canopies of Banksias with their root system offering mineral accumalator functionality.

A feature pool has been elevated above the foyer, casting below circles of refracted light during the day and night. A more private shared pool is set within a shaded portal bridging lush landscapes and a public canal.

Swipe through to these scenes from the integrated architecture and landscape project collaboration of CaPA + TIERRA. Currently under construction in Thailand.

Sketch notes from a project in Kinjarling - Albany, Attempts to listen and record a dreamscape of memory and hopes, traced by carved interlocking pathways and a grounded absence of fallen sheok leaves.

Project - Kalyenup 'Place of Fires'
In consultation with Menang Elders and facilitated by the Museum of WA.
Project Architect and led by Simon Pendal Architects
Landscape by CaPA - Steven Postmus and Vicky Chuaybamrung

A project dear to our hearts, with the whole team desirous for it to be more than a hopeful conversation

Density Done Well Exhibition, 2025

Honoured to have been part of this showing by The Australian Institute of Architects

Hosted in the Lobby of Sponsored by NATSPEC

Thank you to MJA Studio for the invitation.

The exhibition featured a curated selection of architecturally designed housing projects from across Western Australia, showcasing how thoughtful design can achieve quality and liveable density.

We’re proud to have had one of favourite projects; the Loftus St Apartment's included. It shows how a generous and immersive landscape amenity can be achieved, when designed together with architecture at the very beginning. Considered architectural details also give the project a sense of place and uniqueness.

Architecture + Landscape
"We put a lot of thought (and heart) into designing homes that feel good to live in. It’s about details, flow,
and making spaces that just work for real life."

D_Residence
Shaped by our clients’ stories, passions and the way they live. The heart of the house is a big, light-filled living space where voices carry across wings, bikes and surfboards. There's climbing, swinging, and splashes of art brought to life. More than a house, it’s a home for them and their community.
