As winter settles in across Perth, it's often the simple things we appreciate most, like a home filled with natural light.

More than a design feature, natural light brings warmth, comfort and a sense of connection to the spaces we spend the most time in. It's one of those elements that influences how a home feels from the first coffee of the morning through to the end of the day.

Building Majestic was a deeply collaborative journey, made even more meaningful as the second home we’ve created together with Kevin and Melanie.

Designed to embrace its waterfront setting, the home balances bold architectural form with warm, highly liveable spaces made for entertaining, gathering, and everyday life.

As Urbane’s Chief Happiness Officer, Archie plays an important role in keeping the office environment positive, relaxed, and full of energy. Known for his friendly nature and ever-wagging tail, he brings comfort and cheer to the team, along with a well-timed reminder to step away from the desk.

Throughout the day, Archie makes his rounds between teams, helping to lift morale and ensuring no opportunity for a quick pat goes unnoticed. His presence has become a valued part of the Urbane culture, supporting a workplace that embraces balance, wellbeing, and a sense of fun alongside the design process.

For Archie, the most rewarding part of the role is being around his team, keeping spirits high, and, of course, collecting plenty of well-earned pats along the way.
