Central Avenue Homes have a vacancy for a trainee estimator/scheduler and general building assistant, working from our Yangebup offices.
The role will primarily be involved in the estimating and writing up of detailed quotations for new homes but will also include detailed final quantities and raising purchase orders for homes going to site.
In addition the role will likely extend to providing office based support for the site supervisor and assist with processing invoices for accounts processing.
Building industry exposure would definitely be an advantage but not essential.
Experience with Excel, Word and Outlook will be required along with a strong grasp of basic mathematics and grammar.
The position will initially be casual and based on 20 hours per week with a view to increasing hours and permanency as your skills increase and if the workload requires.
