Partial project completion — by design.
This client needed their workshop floor completed but couldn’t shut down or fully clear the space. Rather than forcing an all-or-nothing approach, we split the project into two manageable stages, allowing them to keep operating while the works progressed.
At WA Epoxy Flooring, we understand that every site is different. If staging the works, working around equipment, or breaking a project into sections makes the process easier — we’re more than happy to accommodate.
The goal is simple: minimal disruption, maximum result.

After this slab had cured for one month, we returned to apply a professional concrete densifier — increasing surface hardness, reducing dusting, improving durability, and enhancing polish response.
We then burnished the floor using a gas-powered machine with diamond-impregnated pads, taking the surface to an 800-grit, glass-like finish.
This process is commonly known as a “poor man’s polish” because it achieves a clean, reflective result without the time, machinery, or cost of full mechanical polishing.

One of our standout projects for the year.
This new puppy day care facility in Forrestdale features Basalt from the Hyperflake range, enhanced with Silver Diamond holographic for added depth and visual interest. The system was completed with a Crystal Finish, delivering a durable, seamless surface with a premium aesthetic.
This flooring solution was selected to balance performance, longevity, and visual impact in a high-use commercial environment.

Preparation is everything.

Understanding different substrates and selecting the correct tooling for the job is a critical part of achieving a quality outcome.

This workshop was previously used as a spray booth, with multiple layers of paint built up over time. By selecting the correct PCD tooling, we were able to efficiently remove the coatings and return the slab to a suitable profile for the next stage of works.

This is why surface preparation isn’t guesswork—it’s experience.
