🦺 Morning Safety Share – Keeping Our Crew Safe! 🦺

At SGC Australia, safety is always our top priority. Each morning, our crew gathers for a quick safety share to review key practices, discuss hazards, and ensure everyone on site is aware and prepared.

Today’s focus: Staying hydrated and managing heat safety, which is especially important as the hotter months approach. During the session, the team discussed:

✅ Why it matters: Understanding the importance for safety and wellbeing
✅ Practical tips: Simple actions to prevent incidents or injuries
✅ Team support: How we can look out for each other and follow safety procedures

It only takes a few minutes, but these discussions make a big difference in keeping everyone safe. From new starters to our experienced crew, every team member’s input counts, because safety is a shared responsibility!

SGC Australia had a fantastic time at the Resourceful Women networking sundowner at Long Neck Brewery in Perth last week. Felicity, Mary, Hannah and Charlotte loved connecting with other women in the industry, sharing experiences, and supporting those looking to grow their careers in what can sometimes be a challenging space.

Resourceful Women, founded by Sienna and Dani Tamati, is an incredible community initiative that offers a strong, supportive network for women across the mining and resources sector.

A huge thank you to Sienna and Dani for hosting such an inspiring event. Our team had a fantastic time and we’re already looking forward to the next catch-up!
