You know, if they didn't have the model train, they wouldn't have gotten the idea for the big trains.

Great moment from Jennifer Coolidge in A Mighty Wind.

Thank you to every single one of you who has helped contribute to the success of our public run days!

We love having you with us.

Every like, share, comment and ticket sold helps to pass on to another generation the same passion our volunteers have for model engineering and miniature railways.

*** TICKET PRICING UPDATE FOR 2027 ***

It is not news to anyone - everything is getting a bit more expensive these days. Insurance, price of diesel, cost of coal for our steam locos, ground maintenance and repairs - it all adds up.

We love and appreciate all your support over the years and we have done our best to continue to be one of the most affordable Miniature Railways in Perth. Our last price review was back in 2021 🤯 we promise 2027 will continue to offer you a fun and enjoyable day out for a family of 4 for under $50!

We asked you to vote!

Steam won by a landslide...

Guess what! Overcast & chance of rain weather forecast for Sunday means a higher chance you will get to see steam locos running at our event.

Just pack a raincoat 😜

Want to give someone love to our Diesel locos - head over and ❤️ the original post to even it up a bit https://www.facebook.com/100046316480252/posts/1770452804508585/

24/09/2026

When you come to one of our runs expect to see trains of all shapes and sizes!

If you could only ride behind one of these locos - which would you choose?

19/09/2026

Beware of diesels.... our orange club loco has gone a little "off the rails" - there are 5 hidden in this image, can you find them?

Our Rotunda booking for 25th October has had to cancel their day with us 🥲

Now that our 2026 runs are full to the tippy-top, our email is getting an influx of waitlist requests.

😉TLDR; First come - first served - no waitlist😊

We no longer have a waitlist option as it was not working effectively. We simply recommend checking back for your preferred date often, particularly in the week prior to the event. Refunds are allowed to be requested up to 48 hours prior to the event. All refunded tickets are re-released on trybooking to give someone else an opportunity to purchase.
