☁️ Winter Solar Reality Check ☀️🔋

As we head into winter, it’s completely normal for solar systems to produce less power than they do in summer. Shorter days, cloudy weather, rain, and lower sun angles all affect solar generation.

This also means batteries may not fully charge every day — especially during long stretches of cloudy weather or if the home is using a lot of power during the day.

A few things that can help during winter:
⚡ Run appliances during daylight hours where possible
⚡ Be mindful of heavy night-time usage (heaters, aircons, dryers, etc.)
⚡ Expect lower production compared to summer months

Solar and batteries still help reduce your bills through winter — just with more realistic expectations around production and battery charging. ☀️💙
