Connecting WA businesses!
More than 400 representatives from industry, government, project management and procurement came together in Perth last week for the SCOPE 2026 Forum, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA.

The forum provided an opportunity to explore Western Australia’s growing project pipeline across energy, defence, resources and infrastructure, and the opportunities this creates for local businesses. As we mark Supplier Diversity Month, it’s an important reminder of the role major projects can play in creating opportunities for businesses of all sizes and strengthening local supply chains.

Craig Gibbins, Vice President of e2o, shared an overview of the Kwinana Gas Power Generation 2 project and the opportunities for WA businesses to be part of its delivery.

As WA continues to invest in major infrastructure and energy projects, strong connections between project owners, procurement leaders and local industry will be key to creating lasting economic value across the state.

Webuild is proud to be part of these conversations and to help connect local capability with the projects shaping WA’s future.

💧 Woodman Point’s largest concrete pour!
Clough, as part of Integrate Alliance with Water Corporation and Jacobs, is delivering Western Australia’s largest and most advanced wastewater treatment upgrade at the Woodman Point Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF).

One of the project’s major milestones this year was the completion of its largest concrete pour, setting the foundation for the Final Dewatering and Loadout Facility. It took exceptional planning and collaboration across Integrate Alliance and TNE to deliver the pour safely and seamlessly.

The pour at a glance:
🚧 440 m³ of concrete
🏗️ 150 t of reinforcement
👷‍♀️ 8-hour continuous pour from 1am to 9am

This milestone brings us one step closer to delivering a facility that will support almost 900,000 people across Perth while setting a new benchmark for sustainable water infrastructure.

As part of the Webuild Group, we're combining global capability with local expertise to deliver complex, sustainable infrastructure that leaves a positive legacy for communities across Australia and the Asia Pacific.

📖 Indigenous Literacy Day!
Today we celebrate the stories, cultures and languages of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and the continued creation and sharing of First Nations literature.

Through our longstanding partnerships with the Clontarf Foundation, Stars Foundation and Starlight Children's Foundation Australia’s Healthier Futures Initiative, we are proud to support the important work these organisations do to foster self-determination, strengthen cultural connections, and build confidence and engagement in education for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students across the country.

On Indigenous Literacy Day, we also recognise the vital work of The Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF) in providing books and learning resources, including those written in First Languages, to children and families in remote communities across Australia.
