We have just taken delivery of a new range of Renquip fl**ge management and pipework tools at our Perth workshop. This includes the VIPER-28 which is the world’s most powerful spreading wedge.

Whether it is a planned shutdown or an urgent site requirement, we have this specialist gear ready to move when you are. The VIPER-28 delivers 277kN of spreading force from a tool weighing only 5kg with a jaw tip depth of 5mm. Each hydraulic kit is packaged in a robust carry case and includes the pump and safety blocks needed to operate safely.

Our team was up in Darwin last week for the APGA networking event to discuss upcoming pipeline work and industry challenges. Being present for these discussions helps us keep our specialist equipment and support responsive to the needs of the local sector.

The guys also managed to secure a decent result on the water while experiencing some of that famous Top End hospitality.

In partnership with Deploy Workforce Solutions , Marcem Australia recently delivered a two-day Fl**ge Management training course for an Indigenous Pre-Employment Program.

Industry training is the fastest way to transition candidates into operational roles. Letia Shaw is doing critical work to develop a local workforce and we are proud to assist by providing the technical instruction for this group.

Marcem is proud to partner with Migarda Calibration Pty Ltd to strengthen calibration support across the Pilbara.

This new partnership creates a clearer process for equipment collection, transport and return, helping remote operations manage calibration requirements with confidence.

The partnership will also support stronger Indigenous business participation and regional capability in the Pilbara, creating more local opportunity and keeping essential work closer to where it’s needed.

Migarda’s calibration logistics service is nearing launch, and we look forward to sharing more as we move into the final stages of readiness.

Together, Marcem and Migarda Calibration are committed to Closing the Gap by creating real pathways into technical trades, strengthening Indigenous participation, and delivering high‑quality calibration support across the Pilbara.
