Today is R U OK? Day, a reminder to check in on those around us.

Whether it's a colleague, friend, family member or neighbour, take a moment to ask, "Are you okay?" and be there to listen.

Meaningful conversations don't need to happen only today. By checking in regularly and looking out for one another, we can all help create stronger, more supportive communities.

Malteurop's Geelong grain processing plant had an industrial lighting pole in a high-wind area that wouldn't stop vibrating due to site conditions.

Our Business Development Manager, Mike Jones, spotted the cause of the pole vibration during a routine site visit. One upgrade to the Swivelpole™ HVPT Maxis™ joint, and the movement was gone under the exact same wind conditions.

If you've got lighting poles behaving the same way on your industrial site, it's worth a conversation.

Checking in with the people around us shouldn't happen only once a year.

Whether it's a quick chat on-site, a call between jobs, or just noticing when someone's gone a bit quiet, a genuine "are you ok?" can mean more than we realise.

R U OK? Day falls on 11 September, but looking out for each other, on the tools, in the office, or out in the field, is something that matters every day, not just one.

Poles that arrive on site ready to install, not ready to assemble.

Our new Newcastle facility now offers pre-electrical assembly for lighting projects: luminaires fitted, junction boxes installed, every fastening torqued to spec and every unit individually tested, tagged, and documented with a project-specific register.

For projects where certified electrical labour and site access are a bottleneck, that's less on-site coordination and fewer trades to schedule.

Talk to your Swivelpole™ local rep about timing it into your next project.

This Safe + Sound Week, workplaces across the U.S. are focusing on a shared priority: reducing hazards before incidents occur.

At Swivelpole™, we're committed to reducing fall hazards associated with working at elevated heights by making pole-mounted equipment accessible from walkway level. By eliminating the need for ladders, scaffolds, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), teams can carry out routine inspections, servicing, and upgrades safely.

We're proud to provide solutions that help organizations proactively reduce risk and create safer working environments.

Swivelpole™ now has stock on the East Coast.

Our new Newcastle, New South Wales facility is open, bringing standard Swivelpole™ lowering pole solutions closer to projects across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania, with shorter lead times and lower freight costs.

For lighting projects, we're also offering an optional pre-electrical assembly service: poles leave Newcastle with luminaires fitted, junction boxes installed, and every unit individually tested and tagged. Delivered to site ready for installation.
