Most people think about switching from evap to reverse cycle in the middle of summer. By then, everyone else is thinking the same thing.

Winter is actually one of the better times to make the move. Demand is lower, scheduling is faster, and the whole process is less disruptive when you are not in the middle of a heatwave.

A few things worth knowing:
Your existing ductwork can often be reused, which keeps costs down
Reverse cycle heats and cools, so you get year round comfort
Modern systems are significantly more efficient than older evap units
