After some enquires I made this hay net filler. As usual it is overkill and makes it too expensive to sell ( $180 ). It is 30x30 galvanised square tube fully welded and even has feet to make stable in paddock or stable.
I will make some more but this time lighter and smaller steel to see if there is any interest ( also cheaper in price I hope ).

Different type of hay bale mover being fabricated and tested. Uses spikes, just reverse into bale and winch up to move.

Next little project (when I get some spare time) will be fabricating another one of these hay bale movers.

It’s designed to tow behind a quad or vehicle with a tow ball. Just lower the forks, reverse under the bale, winch it up, and tow it away — simple and practical.

We originally built one for ourselves as we’re on a small property without a tractor, and it’s made moving bales so much easier. It’s been working great for us.

Most of the things I make are small, practical builds I do in my spare time for our place, my wife, and friends around the horse community. I enjoy coming up with simple solutions that make jobs around the property a bit easier.

I’d love to hear what you think — is this something you’d find useful?

A little project I’ve been working on — a fold-flat horse rug and saddle pad rack that mounts to your shed or barn wall. Keeps rugs and pads aired out and tidy, then folds away flat when not in use 👍

I mostly build these sorts of things in my spare time for my wife and a few friends around the horse community. I enjoy making practical gear that makes life at the stables easier, and when I get time I’m always happy to take on the odd custom job.

I have been asked to make a shorter version with a few extra rails just for saddle pads. I’ll share a photo of it finished soon.

Finally got around to making another rake for a neighbour 🛠️🐎

I’ve had a bit of interest in these lately, so I thought I’d put it out there. I’ve been building a few things on the side for family and friends in the horse community while still working full-time — just a passion project at the moment.
