Keep your family safe by being aware of some of the most dangerous electrical hazards that can be observed in a home:

1. Poor wiring and defective electric wires can increase the chances of fires, power surges, and other series consequences. Damaged, worn or corroded electrical wires can increase the chances of electrical accidents. Have a qualified CJ Electrician check your wiring on a regular basis to ensure the wiring is safe.

2. Outlets close to water scuh as in bathrooms, kitchens and other areas should be installed a safe distance away from the source of water.

3. Lightbulbs have potential for an electrical fire when near flammable materials, such as beds, drapes and plastics.

4. Covered electrical cords and wires can make the cords overheat and occasionally lead to electrical fires because these radiate HEAT! Keep cords and wires AWAY from wires and uncovered.
