Celebrating safety!

Safety is something we take very seriously at LGM Industries because getting our people home safe and injury free is our top priority.

Last week as a way of recognising the daily effort and commitment to safety our people show, we put on a series of barbecues to say thanks.

Our safety performance hinges upon the efforts of our people and the initiatives and improvements they put in place as well as ensuring they look after one another.

A few examples of LGM taking further positive safety steps include:

At LGM Industries we believe in the on-going development of our people and seek to increase their skill set whenever we can.

Last week eight of our people undertook poly welding training with Down to Earth Training & Assessing RTO 51199 training and assessing.

The two-day course which was facilitated at our Picton East workshop saw participants learn how to join polyethylene plastic pipelines using butt welding and electrofusion welding.

This nationally accredited course not only expands LGM's capabilities but expands the skills and experience of our employees.

LGM Industries was invited to attend the launch of The Avocado Collective's upgraded facility in Manjimup last week.

The packing plant which underwent a $17 million makeover is the biggest of its kind in Australia processing up to 2.5 million kilograms of avocados per week!

Now that is a lot of smashed avo on toast 🥑

LGM Industries played a pivotal part in the expansion of the facility fabricating more than 160 platforms, walkways and handrails.

A huge shout out to our fabrication team for getting the job done – it looks fantastic!

David applauded the team for their efficiency and professionalism in adhering to the tight deadlines while completing the unexpected works.

This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring our equipment and tooling is safe, serviceable, and well maintained.

You’ll work closely with our workshop, project and procurement team to manage the efficient storage, maintenance, preparation and movement of tooling and equipment across our various site-based projects.
