We first started building “outbuildings” well before the complying development legislations were introduced in 2009. Outbuildings were one of many

timber garden products we offered along with an extensive range of retail timber products and onsite design services. Being one of the first treated timber retailers to open its doors in 1977, we have continued to utilise treated timber throughout all of our projects. Being a family run and owned business from your local area, we understand the importance of customer service and “a good job”. Word spreads fast and therefor we treat every project as if we were building our own home. With Greenwood Homes and Granny Flats, your Granny Flat will not simply be just another job. As a smaller local builder every job counts ensuring you will receive a much more personalised and professional service. Unlike other companies who prefer prefabricated products, we design and build your granny flat from the ground up onsite just as you would any normal house. We work with you to ensure you receive a design that suits your property and tastes. All our timber materials are treated pine and exceed the Australian Building Codes and the Australian Standards for Timber Framed Construction AS 1684. Further to Granny Flats we will also build new homes and ground floor renovations. We specialise in building on difficult sites including steep slope, bushfire and flood zones. We take pride in delivering a product that represents quality in its inclusions and materials, as well as workman ship that we can be proud of.
