Commercial Property Guide was created with one clear objective; offer the commercial property sector an alternative to what could be described as a monopoly and challenge the status quo. We often think of ourselves as the David and Goliath of the industry…and we all know who won that battle. After years of providing a prospect and listing management system to some of Australia’s leading commercial agents, it was time to leverage both our knowledge of the industry and our passion for innovation. Commercial Property Guide is the only listings portal created by a team grounded in commercial property sector for the commercial property sector, unlike the legacy print corporations’ web-based portals.

Former nursing homes are getting a second life.

As aged care consolidates, more former facilities are being refitted as Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). In Preston, Melbourne, a 35-room former aged care home has just been leased long-term to an NDIS provider for $530,000 a year, with annual CPI reviews.

The numbers look good on paper, but there’s a catch. The NDIA is already flagging oversupply in parts of Melbourne, Adelaide and South East Queensland, and much of the new stock doesn’t match what participants actually need.
