This world environment day we wanted to share 8 ways that we can all contribute to climate action.

We’re contributing to climate action by reducing energy and resource use in various ways:
- A majority of our sites have solar panels to offset some of our energy use.
- All local Legrand sites purchase 100% RE100 compliant renewable green energy from the grid, coming from solar or wind farms in Australia and New Zealand.
- We’re actively transitioning to an electric vehicle fleet with an aim to have a 20% EV fleet by the end of this year.

We’re actively combating pollution:
- We’re transitioning our packaging towards a ‘no single use plastic’ packaging policy. We aim to eliminate all single use plastic in our packaging by 2030.
- We are investigating our energy intensive products and identifying ways to redesign them to consume less energy in production.
- Legrand Eco-design criteria that ensures sustainable design for all new products.
- We are incorporating recycled plastics and metals in our products where possible .

Thank you to the team for walking the talk on raising awareness! The Push-Up Challenge is Australia's largest mental health+fitness event.

Each year, hundreds of thousands of Australians take up the challenge to complete a set number of push-ups that represent the number of lives lost to su***de in Australia in the most recent year of available data.

Pink Shirt Day is about coming together as a community to promote kindness, respect, and inclusion. A New Zealand initiative, this day has been adopted by Legrand on both sides of the Tasman and is a reminder that everyone deserves to feel safe and supported, at work and beyond. We are proud to stand with our people, partners, and communities. Today we are wearing pink Kōrero Mai, Kōrero Atu, Mauri Tū, Mauri Ora - speak up, stand together and stop bullying.

Together, small actions can make a big difference.
