Yesterday, 8 brave souls from Capital Veneering conquered the High Society Stair Chase in the name of charity for Menslink and whilst they may have been regretting their choices in the moment, it was absolutely worth it! This year’s event was the biggest so far with over $36,000 raised for Menslink, the largest number of participants took on the challenge, and the record for the fastest time was beaten!

Congratulations to the Capital Veneering team Celina, Leon, Sam, Sebastian, Kira, Francois, Jordan, and our fastest runner Benji who came 13th out of 130!

Thank you Geocon for organising the event and for seamlessly adjusting to the wild rainy weather that greeted us. 🌧️ The coffee, and egg and bacon rolls were very much appreciated after the race!

The Capital Veneering furnace is back in action just in time to keep the team warm this winter! 🔥

After some scheduled maintenance and a well-deserved makeover, the workshop furnace is ready to power through the colder months and keep the workshop running strong. 💪 The best part is it’s 100% powered by the sawdust and offcuts we produce meaning we keep the team warm while reducing landfill. Now that’s a win win! ♻️

To celebrate our Social Club turning 20, and Capital Veneering turning 25, our Social Club members went somewhere very special this year with the help of a generous donation from Capital Veneering! We spent a weekend at Oaks Lake Crackenback Resort where we made the most of their activities and beautiful surroundings. 🌳

Saturday night brought us together for a gourmet BBQ on the grass where we presented Clayton Pillay with this years Social Club Appreciation Award for attending all Social Club events in 2025 and for bringing joy to those around him.

Now it’s time to plan our 2027 weekend away!
