We loved hosting Electrify This/Sarah Aubrey for a turbine climb at our Crudine Ridge Wind Farm near Mudgee. With 37 turbines, Crudine can power up to 75,000 homes. A little known fact about wind farms is that they pay off their carbon footprint in 6 months and have a shelf life of at least 30 years. The maths makes sense as does the need for wind to keep Australia's electricity system reliable as coal fired power stations retire. 🤓🧮

The Central West Blitz kicks off this week!

Teaming up with Squadron Energy, the St George Illawarra Dragons will be visiting more than a dozen schools across Western NSW on 11 and 12 of August.

This includes schools in Gilgandra, Coonamble, Walgett and Gulargambone.

Dragons' legends Ricky Walford and Nathan Blacklock will be joined by current players from the NRL squad 🏉

A WIN the Morning community event will be held at Global Village Café in Coonamble from 7am on 12 August. Residents are encouraged to come along!

Crudine Ridge Wind Farm was proud to support the NSW RFS - Hargraves Brigade bonfire and fireworks over the weekend!

Dozens of residents gathered at the Hargraves Recreation Ground to enjoy the spectacular display on Saturday night 🎆

This special event also featured a BBQ, jukebox and raffles.

All money raised on the night goes back to the community to help in assisting the brigade purchase new equipment 🚒

The Central West Orana is seeing lasting local investment.

More than $6.3 million has been invested in community projects and local infrastructure across the region, focused on practical benefits that matter day to day and over the long term. 📍

This includes projects like the Dubbo wastewater treatment upgrade, the refurbishment of Bellhaven into worker accommodation, and funding for local community initiatives across the region.

Year 9 science students from St Matthews Catholic High School in Mudgee recently visited our Crudine Ridge Wind Farm to see renewable energy up close.

Our team hosted 120 students for a safety briefing, a guided tour, and a hands-on look at the equipment and tools used on site—bringing classroom learning into the real world and sparking conversations about future careers in renewables.

Crudine Ridge Wind Farm (45km south of Mudgee) has 37 turbines and generates enough electricity to power more than 75,000 homes, avoiding around 266,000 tonnes of carbon emissions each year.
