DREAM. BUILD. LAUNCH.

Today we celebrate an incredible and historic achievement by a LASC participant. Starting at age 13 with his first space mission, young Kevin didn't stop there.

Between 13 and 14, he developed by himself all systems for a solid-propellant experimental rocket reaching 3 km apogee, which he launched at the 2022 LASC when he turned 15.

In the 2023 LASC, he presented a liquid-propellant engine for the same 3 km target... a first for the event. Amazing!

Kevin went further and single-handedly built a real satellite, GalaxySat-1 (Galaxy Explorer), launched aboard India's PSLV-C62 (which failed in the third stage).

With all the experience gained at LASC, supported by his family, the organizers, and , he ignited his future and today studies aerospace engineering in the United States at UC Irvine!
