Roofing works underway! Not a bad view from up here. 
 
Our building and maintenance team are on-site swapping out damaged roof sheets for new Zincalume to match the existing profile. 
 
Fixings, laps and flashings all installed to manufacturer’s standards. And while we’re up there, we’re clearing out a few redundant rooftop units to head off any future rust risk.

22 years. One incredible career for Glenco legend, Pete. 👏🏽

Today the whole Glenco family — Building & Maintenance, Electrical and Security — came together to farewell Pete and celebrate his retirement after 22 years of service with Glenco Building and Maintenance.

Pete, thank you for two decades of dedication, hard work and the legacy you’ve built here.

Not every job fits through a front door! Our install electrical team is underway on another main switchboard replacement! This time for a 12-unit building in Bondi.

Access is tight, so we’re bringing in a 17-metre crane to lift the new switchboard into a narrow gap between two buildings.

Once it’s in, we’ll be wiring up power to all 12 units, installing a separate board for the building’s shared services (think hallway lights, lifts, common areas)

Intercom upgrade! 
 
We recently upgraded the intercom at this Sydney building. Installing a new video intercom with keypad entry, and adding an access control reader on the side so residents can tap in with a fob.
 
And because meter readers and electricians still need to get in, we reinstalled the building’s existing tradesperson keypad at the base. A smart system for everyone!
