From English willow to the international stage. 🏏

We went behind the scenes at Kookaburra Cricket to watch Alex Carey’s bat come to life, with bat maker Lachlan Dinger taking us through the craftsmanship behind the process.

Then came the finishing touch...

Alex joined us for the reveal as the GoodWe sticker officially took its place on his Kookaburra Kahuna.

As an official bat sponsor, we’re proud to take our partnership with Alex to the crease. Keep an eye out for the GoodWe name when Alex steps out for Australia!

A new chapter for renewable energy training in the Pacific. GoodWe’s John Wright recently attended the official opening of the Pacific Sustainable Energy Training Centre at The University of the South Pacific in Suva, Fiji.

John caught up with Geoff Stapleton AO to discuss the journey behind the Centre and its important role in developing renewable energy skills across the Pacific.

GoodWe is proud to have supported the Centre with donated equipment for hands-on student training. From smaller PV systems through to the latest energy storage technology, students can now gain practical experience using equipment they may encounter in the field.

Congratulations to The University of the South Pacific, Sustainable Energy Industry Association of the Pacific Islands - Seiapi, Geoff Stapleton AO, GSES Australia, and everyone who helped turn this long-held vision into reality.

The Clean Energy Council’s Career Launcher initiative is helping bring more women into Australia’s renewable energy industry by opening doors to its major industry conferences.

Through the Women in Renewables program, students and recent graduates can attend leading clean energy events, learn directly from industry experts, build professional networks, and explore potential career pathways. Participants also receive access to the CEC’s Discover the Renewable Energy Industry online course.

GoodWe was proud to support the initiative by sponsoring Xiaomei Wu to attend the Australian Clean Energy Summit 2026.

For Xiaomei, the opportunity provided two days of learning, networking, and conversations with people working across Australia’s clean energy transition. It also helped strengthen her ambition to build a career in utility-scale battery energy storage.

Supporting the energy transition means investing in more than technology. It also means investing in the talented people who will drive the industry forward.

GoodWe is proud to have played a small part in Xiaomei’s journey, and to support an initiative creating meaningful opportunities for women entering clean energy.

The 100kW–1MW gap that’s finally been unlocked

From 1 October 2026, the SRES eligibility threshold is set to increase from 100kW to 1MW, transforming the economics of commercial rooftop solar across Australia.

For installers, EPCs and commercial energy customers, this could be a major shift.

✅ More projects can access upfront STC incentives.
✅ Larger PV systems become more commercially attractive.
✅ And bigger solar systems create even more opportunity for energy storage.

So what does this mean for C&I?

It means the 100kW–1MW “missing middle” is about to become one of the most economically viable segments in Australian solar. And GoodWe is ready.

GT Series | 100–125kW: High-power three-phase string inverters designed for large commercial PV systems, with up to 10 MPPTs, 21A input current per string and up to 150% DC oversizing. Ideal for scaling commercial PV projects towards the new 1MW opportunity.

ET Series | 80–100kW Hybrid: Built for solar + storage, the ET Series combines up to 200% PV oversizing with DC-coupled battery integration, intelligent energy management and applications including self-consumption, peak shaving and time-of-use optimisation.
