CMC has demonstrated the capability to deliver ‘construct only’ forms of contract but regularly undertake Design and Construct projects. The Double Bay Ferry Wharf Upgrade was officially opened late last year. Clement Marine were the Principal Contractors for this project and works consisted of:
- Demolition of the existing timber/concrete wharf and tidal steps
- Repair works to the existing jetty
- Piling and precast installation
- New 18m gangway installation
- Installation of floating pontoon, including fit out works
- All associated services works including electrical, hydraulic and communications works (incl. trenching, backfilling and make good)

Clement Marine recently completed the Stage 1 Works for the Taronga Zoo Ferry Wharf Upgrade.

Works included:
- Existing jetty repairs
- The partial demolition of the existing jetty to suit new covered accessway ramp
- Marine piling and precast installation
- The design, construction and installation of new accessway ramp
- Associated landside civil works, footings and landscaping

An opportunity exists to join the team in Rozelle as our Yard Person responsible for the day to day running of the yard.

Duties will include:
- Receiving and dispatching materials
- Responsible for the maintenance, servicing and upkeep of plant, tools and equipment
- Testing and tagging of power tools (training can be provided)
- Pickup and delivery of materials and equipment
- Generally overseeing the yard to ensure it remains tidy and organised

We're after someone with a valid drivers licence, current forklift ticket and an understanding of general yard maintenance and "housekeeping". The ideal candidate will be a hands-on person who has experience around construction machinery, whilst demonstrating strong quality, safety and leadership qualities.

As Residents of Chadwick St at Putney, which overlooks Kissing Point, we would like to pass on our appreciation to your team that managed the Wharf Upgrade, for their consideration to the Residents, and continued communication by way of notices regarding progress also advice as to the scheduled completion due this coming week.

Work is kicking off at the Kissing Point Ferry Wharf in Putney. Clement Marine will be replacing the old structure with a new covered pontoon and gangway including rest area / viewing platform. Associated civil works including updated footpaths, additional bicycle racks and a new kiss and ride stop will also be completed.

Clement Marine are currently replacing four separate public wharves with pontoon style wharves around the Central Coast at Davistown Rd, Davistown; Amy St Davistown; Kendall St Empire Bay; and Wisemans Ferry Rd Spencer for Central Coast Council.

Works have been completed on the first three wharves with works at Central Wharf in Davistown to be started early next year.
