Wow how time flies when you're having fun.

The past few months have flown by and seen exponential growth in the business, which means welcoming new employees, new clients and suppliers, all great things for the local precast industry and our local community.

Aside from providing cost effective, quality solutions for our clients, providing opportunities for people to grow and prosper is at the core of what we do, that mantra encompasses all stakeholders.

Waeger Constructions have been working with DT Infrastructure to supply and deliver the precast components for the Tuggerah Station upgrade.

The upgrade is raising the bar for railway systems in NSW, with stations that have a higher capacity - meaning more customers, more frequently.

The upgrade is a TfNSW initiative to provide a better experience for public transport customers by delivering accessible, modern, secure and integrated transport infrastructure across the state.

Today is the day for Michael! The big climb. The weather is overcast but not to bad, so they are on track to start the summit attempt at 4pm this afternoon (our time) but a midnight start time for Michael.

The guide has told Mick he has acclimatised well and that he is physically fit and strong enough to do this, but now it just comes down to his mental strength.

You can and will do this!!

We believe in you Michael and are so proud of your journey so far!

From Michael
Two mountains down 3 to go.
- Pasochoa 4200m, 5 hours, 16km 925m elevation gain
- Racu Pichincha 4696m, 5 hours , 12km 700m elevation gain
Both have been challenging but not to hard and good preparation for the next ones.
Racu Pichincha was amazing, for most of the walk we had views down to Quito, sitting more than 1200m below us. The last 20m of the climb was a rock scramble on a narrow ridge, tested the nerves but it was enjoyable.

Today we move on to get ready to take on Cayambe at 5700m, this will be a step up not only in altitude but also we will be on snow and ice, and to add to that a midnight start to be up there for sunrise.

Feeling good, feeling fit and strong.
