Are you a motivated young person from Rutherglen or nearby ready to start an electrical apprenticeship specialising in renewables? CBR is looking for someone keen to learn, work hard, and grow with our experienced team.

Essential requirements
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
- Mobile phone for scheduling and communications
- Own basic hand tools and basic tool knowledge
- Construction White Card
- Working at Heights ticket
- Current First Aid certificate

Skills & attributes
- Team player
- Punctual and organised
- Strong work ethic
- Positive, “can-do” attitude
- Eager to learn and take direction

What we offer
- Hands-on apprenticeship in the rapidly growing renewable sector (solar, battery and home electrification)

⏳ 44 DAYS TO GO: Maximize your Battery Rebate!

Are you planning a major upgrade to your home’s renewable setup? If you’ve been eyeing a battery storage system, and want to maximise your rebate, the clock is officially ticking.

In just 44 days, the Battery STC Rebate program transitions to the Federal Governments new regime.

What you need to know in the lead up to 1st May with the new stepped regime:

🔋 Come 1st May, for each 1kWh of Useable battery storage, the number of STC certificates dervied will reduce from 8.4 to 6.8 for battery sizes below 14kWh (inclusive).

🔋 Then for Systems > 14kWh upto 28kWh (inclusive), each additional useable kWh will generate 4.08 STC certificates; and

🔋 Then for Systems > 28kWh upto 50kWh (inclusive), each additional useable kWh will generate 1.02 STC certificates.

The CBR team still has a few installation slots available before the deadline, but they are filling up fast. Don’t leave your savings on the table! Systems need to be installed and commissioned before 1st May 2026.

We had a bit extra "supervision" on-site for our latest install in Bundalong!
We were greeted by the local legend, Peckerhead the Emu, before getting stuck into a serious energy upgrade for a fantastic client.

The iStore Setup:
- Power: 10.56kW PV System.
