These photos from Rose Bay show the type of job that can look straightforward from a distance, but in reality demands planning, discipline and strong people on the ground every day.

Deep excavation. Tight access. Steep terrain. Harbour-side constraints. Excavation support works with very little room for error.

What I’m proud of most is not just the physical progress. It’s the way our team is delivering it.

Calm under pressure.
Methodical in ex*****on.
Focused on safety.
Committed to doing the job properly, not just quickly.

In this industry, real capability is built below ground and behind the scenes, long before the finished structure is visible. That is where programme is protected. That is where margin is protected. And that is where reputations are built.

Celebrating 15 Years of Perfect

Recently, Perfect reached an important milestone — 15 years in business. What started as a small team with big ambitions has grown into a national group delivering some of the most complex demolition, civil, remediation and concrete projects in Australia.

Across Perfect — Perfect Contracting, Perfect Remediation, Perfect Concrete Care and Ngemba Services — our growth has always been driven by one thing: our people. The photos from this week’s celebration in the office are a reminder that every project, every breakthrough and every challenge overcome has been made possible by the teams behind the scenes.

Over the past decade and a half, we’ve expanded our capability, strengthened our systems and built a culture anchored in safety, fairness, respect and continuous improvement. And while our projects continue to scale, those values remain the foundation of everything we do.

We’re hiring a Business Development Manager – Infrastructure & Demolition to join Perfect Contracting in Sydney.

This is a key growth role as we continue expanding across NSW and along the East Coast. We’re looking for someone who understands how infrastructure clients operate, can build strong commercial relationships, and is driven to secure early-works packages on major projects.

The focus areas include:
• Tier 1 & Tier 2 infrastructure contractors
• Western Harbour Tunnel, Sydney Metro, Snowy Hydro, Defence, utilities and major industrial assets
• Demolition, decommissioning, civil early works, hazardous materials and complex engineered demolition
• Identifying early opportunities and supporting clients with strong pre-construction advice

This position also works across our wider group — Perfect Remediation, Perfect Concrete Care, Ngemba Services and Perfect Hire — ensuring clients receive a unified offering across demolition, remediation, concrete services and labour solutions.

Who thrives in this role:
• Energetic communicator who genuinely enjoys meeting clients

Yesterday Perfect Contracting joined Sydney's development community at The Urban Developer's Long Lunch at the Hyatt Regency.
Joined by key clients and delivery partners, the highlight was hearing from leaders there is an optimism coming back into the industry, with innovation, sustainability, and smarter collaboration between players. Closely aligned to our own approach to working with developers, we're looking forward to seeing 2026 unfold.

BYRON BAY, NORTHERN RIVERS & WHY PEOPLE WORK AT PERFECT CONTRACTING

Perfect Contracting continues to expand across regional NSW. Recently, our crew visited Byron Bay and the Northern Rivers on a team building exercise. The full weekend activity took us back to the area where we completed critical remediation work following the 2022 floods.

Our success on this important project and the way the team bonded over the weekend of cycling, swimming, and hiking showed exactly why skilled professionals choose to build their careers with us.

A big thank you to the Perfect Contracting team for successfully completing a challenging tunneling project in Sydney’s Inner West — on time and within budget. This achievement is a great contribution to the local community where we live and operate every day.

Leading the charge was one of our standout supervisors, who has truly stepped up since completing their Cert IV in Work Health & Safety. Under strong leadership and with a sharp focus on safety protocols, the crew navigated high-risk conditions, including constant exposure to silica dust in confined spaces, with professionalism and care.

This past Wednesday, our Founder Mateusz Jedruszek and Chief of Operations Przemyslaw Franczuk proudly represented Perfect Contracting at the 2025 Charity Golf Day at St Michael’s Golf Club hosted by Taylor | Australia. This fantastic event was dedicated to raising essential funds for the Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation – an incredible not-for-profit that provides mobile home care units and outreach programs for children battling cancer across Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Adelaide.
