Meet James Fyfe!

James joined the Hydeng team in 2021, bringing with him a unique mix of mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, software and IT skills.

A mechanic by trade, James has since expanded his talents well beyond the workshop.

He specialises in software programming, electrical data, mechatronics and pretty much anything involving a computer, cable or circuit board.

James is our resident IT Guru and the person everyone turns to when something stops working and nobody else has any idea why! 😜

If it has buttons, wires, software or a screen, there’s a very high chance James can work it out — although sometimes he may need to explain it to the rest of us in a language we actually understand! 😮‍💨

His combination of hands-on mechanical knowledge and technical expertise makes him a valuable part of our Hydeng team.

Whether he’s programming, troubleshooting, working on machinery or rescuing us from an IT disaster, James is always ready to find a solution.

Basically, if it plugs in, turns on, moves, or refuses to cooperate… James is the man for the job!

Meet Kirstyn!

Kirstyn is the newest addition to our Hydeng team, joining us at the end of April.

She is the friendly voice you’ll hear when you call the office and plays a big part in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Kirstyn looks after a range of administrative duties, including both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, along with all the other day-to-day admin that keeps our office ticking.

She has been a fantastic addition to the team and has settled into our crazy bunch perfectly. We’re very happy to have Kirstyn on board!

Alex joined the Hydeng team with valuable experience in the agricultural industry and has become an integral part of our team as our Front Counter Sales/Storeman.

He is the friendly face you’ll see when you walk through our front door, always ready to help customers find the right solution for their needs. Alex keeps our extensive range of products well stocked and organised, while ensuring we have what our customers need, when they need it.

His practical industry experience, product knowledge and friendly approach make Alex an important part of the Hydeng team.

Meet Paul

Paul has been an integral part of the Hydeng team since 2009, before stepping into the role of Sales Manager in 2014.

With decades of experience across hydraulic and pneumatic sales and service, Paul brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the team. He has the expertise to provide practical advice and tailored solutions across hydraulic and pneumatic applications, backed by an extensive network of industry contacts and trusted suppliers.

Before joining Hydeng, Paul worked in maintenance within the power industry, gaining valuable hands-on experience that continues to complement his technical and sales expertise today.

Paul’s industry knowledge, strong customer relationships and ability to find the right solution make him a valued part of the Hydeng team.

He joined the Hydeng family just over a year ago and has quickly become an invaluable asset to our operations.

Shane is 1/4 of the OG Hydeng, starting with the company all the way back in April 2002.

Shane brings years of experience in hydraulics and is passionate about delivering solutions that truly work. With a wealth of industry knowledge, he has previously held roles as a State Manager and Applications & Sales Engineer for multinational companies, giving him a strong mix of leadership and technical expertise.

Shane specialises in custom-engineered machines, designing and delivering tailored solutions to meet specific client requirements. His practical approach and depth of experience make him a much valued member of the team.
