At Genelite, we understand that no two power applications are exactly the same.

A fabrication workshop running welders and cutting equipment has a very different load profile from a pumping station, construction site, commercial building or remote mining operation.

This 250kVA Cummins-powered generator is now loaded and ready for delivery to a local steel fabrication facility. It will provide standby single and three-phase power for high-demand workshop equipment, including stud welding and other fabrication machinery.

Powered by a Cummins 6CTAA8.9-G2 diesel engine and paired with a Stamford UCDI274K brushless AVR alternator, the GC250S delivers 250kVA prime and 275kVA standby power.

The equipment being powered, starting currents, changing loads, operating hours and site conditions must all be considered before recommending a generator.

It is not simply about matching the kVA rating. It is about choosing the right generator for the job.

To find the right power solution for your application, contact Genelite on 1300 305 912.

There’s a difference between a generator that happens to have a Honda engine, and one that is Honda Australia Approved.

The Green & Gold badge means the generator is powered by a genuine Honda engine and has been tested and approved through Honda Australia’s program.

The Genelite GH range, including the GH4000 pictured here, is built around proven Honda engines. They deliver reliable portable power for workshops, worksites, maintenance teams and backup power when it is needed.

The GH4000 is a straightforward, heavy-duty unit with a brushless low-distortion alternator, two switched 15A outlets with thermal overload, and a solid roll frame built for regular use. With up to 4.5 hours of runtime at 60% load, it is designed to keep tools and equipment running without overcomplicating the job.

The GH range can be configured with hire-spec outlets and protection, wheel kits, larger frames and long-range fuel tanks.

When reliable portable power matters, look for the Green & Gold badge. Explore Genelite’s Honda-powered generator range at genelite.com.au or call 1300 305 912.

The Kubota Lowboy range is known for it’s compact, quiet and ultra-reliable diesel power.

Genelite has now made it even more practical with a 4-wheel kit and roll-frame handle, allowing you to move the genny around the workshop or job site with ease.

Unlike a 2-wheel wheelbarrow-style setup, the generator remains fully supported on four pneumatic tyres, so there is no need to lift and tilt the weight of the unit before moving it.

The 4-wheel base provides a stable footprint and makes repositioning the generator on firm, level surfaces much easier - ideal for workshop use.

The kit is available for both the 5.5kVA GL6000 and the 8kVA GL9000. Both models feature reliable Kubota diesel engines, compact silenced enclosures and 28-litre fuel tanks. Every unit supplied by Genelite is filled with fluids, load and function tested, and ready to run. Just add fuel.

For pricing or more information about these generators and the 4-wheel kits, contact our application specialists on 1300 305 912.

A few photos from AgQuip 2026 in Gunnedah, where Ken has been representing the Genelite range over the past three days.

On display is a selection of Hyundai generators and air compressors, alongside Genelite roll-frame generators. We’re highlighting our range of practical, reliable equipment suited to farms, workshops, mobile servicing and remote worksites where power and compressed air matter.

With the final afternoon now underway, anyone still at AgQuip can stop by the stand and talk to Ken about the right equipment for their application. If you have already visited, thanks for calling in and having a chat.

Couldn’t make it to AgQuip? Contact the Genelite team on 1300 305 912 to learn more about the products on display. If you’re based in the region, we can also put you in touch with Ken to discuss the range locally.

One of four 1,650kVA Cummins standby generators on the move, ready for installation into a high-rise building in the Brisbane C*D.

Each set is rated at 1,500kVA prime and 1,650kVA standby and powered by a Cummins KTA50-GS8 V16 diesel engine.

Once commissioned, it will provide standby power for nominated essential services, potentially including air-conditioning, ventilation, lifts, emergency lighting, security and communications.

At this scale, reliable backup power starts well before the generator arrives. Load sequencing, cooling airflow, exhaust, fuel supply and site access all need to be properly planned.

If you need emergency backup power for your building or facility, contact Genelite on 1300 305 912 and speak with our application specialists.

What if you could light a site all night without fuel, engine noise or refuelling?

The Hyundai HYLT600 Solar Lighting Tower is built for construction, civil, mining, industrial and event sites where reliable lighting matters.

It combines three 450W solar panels with a 10kWh LiFePO4 battery, providing up to 19.2 hours of runtime after approximately nine hours of charging. Four 150W LED lights deliver a combined 64,000 lumens across the work area.

The HYLT600 is fully equipped for tough sites and hire fleets, with:
✅ Heavy-duty hot-dip galvanised trailer
✅ 7.5m telescopic mast
✅ Electric mast lift
✅ 100km/h wind rating
✅ Electric brakes
✅ Four stabilisation legs
✅ Integrated security camera
✅ Victron system monitoring

With no fuel to manage, no engine noise and fewer servicing requirements, it’s a practical option for overnight works, remote sites and noise-sensitive locations.

The first batch of HYLT600 lighting towers have now landed, and Genelite Onsite Energy is speaking with hire companies looking to add solar-powered lighting to their fleets.

When emergency power is required, performance can’t be left to chance.

Genelite recently welcomed representatives from a leading Brisbane educational facility to witness the load testing of their new 500kVA diesel generator before delivery.

The test placed the generator under controlled electrical load, allowing our team and the customer to verify its output, voltage and frequency stability, cooling performance, control systems and response to changing demand.

Customer-witnessed testing provides valuable assurance that a generator has been thoroughly assessed and is ready to perform as part of a critical standby power system.

A special thank you to Gavan and Vimu for assisting with the customer visit, as well as the entire Genelite team involved in preparing the generator and completing this important project milestone.

A standby generator can sit idle for weeks or months, then suddenly be expected to start within seconds and carry critical loads when the mains supply fails.

But simply starting doesn’t always mean a standby power system is truly ready. Battery condition, fuel system integrity, cooling performance, ATS operation and the generator’s ability to perform under load all play an important role when an outage puts the system to the test.

For businesses relying on refrigeration, manufacturing equipment, pumps, communications, warehousing or other critical infrastructure, standby power should be considered as part of a broader business continuity plan. The right system needs to be properly specified around the loads that must remain operational, the site environment and the way the facility operates.

What needs to keep running when the mains fail? Genelite can help design and supply a standby power solution around your critical operations.

Contact our team today on 1300 305 912 to discuss your requirements.
