⚡ Busy period for the team right now - still with multiple projects running at once, and this is exactly where we like to be.

The last few weeks alone:🏗️
Dandenong South - put the finishing touches on this one, with the final stages of epoxy pour and grind, plus a full warehouse floor clean and tidy up 🔩

Truganina - wrapped a successful Stage 2, with 1,500+ anchor bolts removed and restored 📍

Braeside - continuing to make strong progress on our 7,000+ bolt/hole project ✅

Keilor Park - project fully turned over (full breakdown to come later this week)📝

Running this many concurrent jobs isn't simple, but it's what we've built LBR to do. Strong systems mean we can service multiple sites at once without compromising on quality or timelines. 💪

​On Monday morning, this section had 1,500+ anchor bolts requiring removal. 🛠

​Fast forward to Wednesday afternoon:
​All 1,500+ bolts removed ahead of schedule and the entire area was completely cleaned 🧼

​With today’s final epoxy pour and tomorrow's grinding remaining, we are fully on track to finish and hand over this section all within just 5 days. ⚡️

📍 Last Monday marked the start of one of three multi-stage projects currently on the go - this one based in Braeside.

The job involves restoring 7,500+ anchor bolt locations left behind from a dismantled pallet racking system and a large-format mezzanine floor.

✅ Stage 1 is complete: 1,650 locations restored in 2.5 working days, right on pace.

⚙️ With three major projects running parallel across our team right now, careful scheduling and resourcing is essential - the right crew, the right gear, and the right sequencing to keep every site moving without compromising quality.

Bolt removal is messy work. 💦

Grinding, drilling, slurry, water - it's not a clean job by nature. But what you're left with should look like we were never there. 🕵🏼‍♀️

Our process:
🔩 Bolts removed using the industry's smallest core sizes - minimising the footprint we leave behind

⚡️ Restored with the highest grade epoxy for a flawless fix

🫧 Finished with a thorough floor clean, removing all built-up water and slurry

The result? A floor that gives no sign a bolt was ever there.

Another multi-stage project, this time out in Truganina. 🚚

Stage 1 saw us remove and restore approximately 900 anchor bolts, plus restore a further 300 screw bolt locations - completed in just 3.5 working days. 🔩⚡️

This work was carried out alongside a pallet racking reconfiguration within a fully operational warehouse, so hitting tight deadlines and maintaining a clean, safe workspace was a top priority throughout. ‼️

Once all restored locations were ground flush, the floor was left cleaner than it was before we arrived. 🫧

FY25/26 is a wrap - and what a year it's been. 🎉

From small warehouses/sheds, to large-scale commercial sites, the Lightning Bolt Removal team has been flat out across the country this year. 🔩⚡️

Take a look at where we've left our mark - Melbourne has been our home turf and it shows, but Sydney and Brisbane are no longer just occasional trips. They're becoming a real part of how we operate. ✈️🛠️

This year we also invested in the business to match the demand:

- Welcomed new team members who've hit the ground running🧑‍🔧
- Added a top-of-the-range floor cleaning machine to our fleet 🧼
- Set up a dedicated storage base in Brisbane, so QLD jobs get serviced faster and with less lead time 📦

Big or small, we've tackled an incredible range of projects this year - and we're proud of every one of them. But we're not slowing down. 📈

On Monday, we kicked off the first stage of a multi-phase project out in Dandenong South - approximately 650 anchor bolts to be removed and restored, plus around 2,500 screw bolt holes to be restored in line with surrounding works. 🏗️

With the warehouse still partly operational and concurrent construction works underway, hitting progress milestones on tight timelines while keeping the space clean is paramount on this one. ⚠️📝

Yesterday we brought in a larger crew to remove 550+ bolts, ensuring the whole floor was clean enough for construction to continue uninterrupted through the week. 🧹💪

Over the last fortnight the team completed 3 seperate jobs out in Brisbane 🛩☀️

Job 1: 450 bolt holes filled with two part epoxy and ground flush - completed in 1.5 days

Job 2: 1700 dynabolts removed, refilled, restored - completed in 4.5 working days

Job 3: 732 dynabolts removed, refilled, restored - completed in 3.5 working days

Here's something most people don't think about when stripping a fitout. ⚠️

Every core drill hole is a scar on the slab. ❌

Industry standard is 32mm - that's 804mm² of concrete opened up per fixing point. With quantities reaching as high as 10 000+, this impact can seriously add up. At Lightning Bolt Removal, we use a 22mm diamond core. That's 380mm². 53% less disturbance, tighter capture of the bolt and sleeve, and a finish that closes near-invisible after fill and grind. 🧐
