🔦BRANCH SPOTLIGHT - Newman, WA
Known as "The Heart of the Pilbara", Newman sits at the centre of one of Australia's most remote and demanding industrial region - a powerhouse for iron ore mining and LNG, approximately 9km north of the Tropic of Capricorn. It's also home to one of our key regional operations, supporting major mining customers and shutdown activity across a huge stretch of the Pilbara.
A few quick facts about the branch:
• Team of 10 servicing remote mining operations across the region
• Supports major mining customers
• Covers sites up to 199km from Newman
• Regularly supports overlapping shutdowns requiring 200+ pieces of equipment
• Key equipment includes lighting cubes, 150KVA dual 63AMP Wilco generators, 125ft access platforms and forklifts
Assistant Branch Manager Jenai Wadham Wadham says shutdown work and preparation are a major part of life in Newman. "We have back-to-back shutdowns that keep our branch very busy," she says. "Having the extra gear and resources to cater for overlapping shutdowns has been one of the branch's greatest achievements in recent years."
Working in remote mining environments means safety and communication remain central to the branch's day-to-day operations. "In mining, safety is always a top priority because of the environment we work in every day," Jenai says. "Every day starts with a pre-start meeting where we discuss safety, weather conditions, deliveries, pickups and key communication for the day ahead."
The Newman team also proudly supports the local community through Rowans Walk for Su***de, supplying lighting towers and refreshments, while taking part in the event alongside the community.

If you're working in the Pilbara or passing through the region, come and say hi to the team.

At Onsite, our people are at the heart of everything we do - and this month we're celebrating two incredible career milestones.
A huge congratulations to Michael Cant, Branch Manager Newcastle, on 10 years with Onsite, and Sam Sullivan, Contract Coordinator Brisbane, on 15 years with the business.
Michael started at the Newcastle Branch as Assistant Manager in 2016 and says the people around him have made the journey rewarding. "Our branch team, as well as the other team members outside our branch that I deal with daily, make my days enjoyable," he says. "They're a brilliant bunch of people, and watching them achieve and evolve over the years makes me very happy. Onsite is a great business to work for; it has been good to me over the years, with plenty of help and support in that time."
For Sammie Jo, her Onsite journey began after working alongside the business in the transport industry before joining as a Rental Sales Coordinator. "Reaching this milestone has given me a moment to reflect on how far we've come as a team and how much I've learned along the way," she says. "I'm proud to be part of Onsite's journey and look forward to contributing to its future success. I'd also like to say a big thank you to all the people who have supported and encouraged me along the way. I've had the privilege of working with many individuals I look up to as mentors and leaders. Their guidance has played a huge part in shaping my journey so far."
Thank you both for your commitment, contribution and the role you've played in helping shape Team Onsite over the years. 👏

All In For Reconciliation.
This year's theme for National Reconciliation Week is a call for all of us to step forward - together - through listening, learning and meaningful action.
Since 2022, Onsite has been on a journey of reconciliation. It's a path shaped by stronger relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and a growing understanding of the role we can play across the regions where we operate. Across our branches, sites and teams, that journey continues - through connection, respect and a shared commitment to doing better, together. Because reconciliation isn't a one-off initiative. It's an ongoing responsibility.
We're all in.

And that's a wrap on !
A huge thank you to the Hire and Rental Industry Association for another outstanding event. It was a fantastic couple of days of networking, innovation, and conversations shaping the future of the hire and rental sector.
The Onsite team loved catching up with peers, exploring the exhibition, and bringing home some brilliant insights - all capped off with the finale dinner to close out the event.
HIRE26 also marked the conclusion of the 2025/26 Young Professionals and Women in Hire Development Programs, with some special shout-outs for the Onsite team!
Huge congratulations to Ashleigh Harb (SHEQ Reporting & Data Analyst NSW) and Emma Medbury (Rental Sales Coordinator NSW) on winning Women in Hire Growth Awards!
As a proud supporter of the HRIA Development Programs, Onsite is committed to backing initiatives that strengthen leadership capability and support the future of the hire industry.
Thank you to the HRIA and Strategic Alignment Training for delivering this year's programs - and congratulations to all participants, nominees and winners!

Supporting major infrastructure projects takes more than equipment - it takes coordination, planning and teams working together seamlessly. That's exactly what our Melbourne teams delivered for the West Tarneit Station project, part of Victoria's Big Build and the Level Crossing Removal Project.

Working across active workfront's and satellite locations, Onsite team members Lenny Ross, Rhys Peters, Scott Battams and Justin Crotty coordinated the delivery of:
• Site accommodation units across the main compound
• Site accommodation units across two satellite locations
• Standalone site sheds
• Telehandlers and boom lifts supporting site operations.

Set to open in late 2026, the new West Tarneit Station will help improve connectivity across Melbourne's rapidly growing western corridor.
A great example of multiple Onsite teams coming together to deliver a coordinated, end-to-end solution on a large-scale infrastructure project.

Same team. Bigger footprint. Smarter setup.
We have relocated and expanded our Pakenham branch in Melbourne's east - now operating from a 9,551sqm facility (almost triple the size), with a 38-strong team on the ground.
By bringing traffic management equipment, site accommodation and mechanical equipment together in one larger location, we're set up to deliver faster, more integrated solutions.
Supporting a wide range of customers across Victoria - including infrastructure, construction and government - and delivering for projects of every scale, from major builds to local works.
Ready where it counts.

2.9km of safety barriers. 4 nights. Mission accomplished.

We recently partnered with Ward Civil & Environmental Engineering, alongside principal contractor Gamuda & DTInfrastructure, to deliver a high-impact traffic management solution for Sydney's north west. As part of the critical Richmond Road Upgrade – M7 Motorway to Townson Road, Marsden Park, our team moved fast to install the system: • 1.6km of Steel Zoneguard Barrier • 1.3km of Concrete T-Lok Barrier Our equipment will remain on-site for the next 18 months, providing a continuous safety corridor to protect crews and keep traffic moving throughout this major infrastructure upgrade.

Complex infrastructure projects don't just need equipment - they need smarter, more efficient ways to power and run entire sites.
At the Uungula Wind Farm transmission project in regional NSW, we partnered with Downer Utilities to deliver a hybrid energy solution combining diesel generation with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).
The result? Generator runtime reduced by nearly 88% and fuel savings of more than $11,000 in a single month, alongside improved efficiency and streamlined site operations through a single supplier model. It's a practical example of how hybrid power and integrated solutions are reshaping project delivery across the utilities and renewables sector.
